Very nice trip and people on board. We saw around 10 dolphins and 2 nice places for snorkelling.

Snorkelling in the ‘Aquarium’ was great as well. Thanks for the hospitality and the good music on board

We enjoyed the day and it seems that we had the best dolphins’ watching skipper.

Experience wild dolphins in the beautiful waters of Tamarin Bay and Le Morne, Mauritius…

Dolphins are often regarded as one of Earth’s most intelligent animals. Dolphins are highly social animals, often living in pods of up to a dozen individuals.

Although they are traveling in these pods, the dolphins do not necessarily swim right next to each other. Rather, they swim within the same general vicinity and produce a variety of vocalization usually in the form of clicks, whistle-like sounds in order to prevent losing one of their pod members.

Dolphins frequently leap above the water surface, this being done for various reasons. When travelling, swimming such can save considerable energy as there is less friction while in the air. Other reasons include orientation, non-verbal communication and entertainment.

This is how by respecting them and their habits that our skipper come to meet them not by interfering on their trajectory. We respect them and come along to meet them not by chasing them for interactions. The dolphin watch has become the most popular form of ecotourism in Mauritius and here at Dream Escapes we respect nature and practice this stress-free form of interactions with the dolphins.
